Thank you! This evening I was very thankful to hear a friend comment on my proper use of irrespective. And similarly, neither of us use the f$#king make-believe-word irregardless.

Sure, the word irregardless appears in various dictionaries. Irregardless* is even in urbandictionary.com - properly defined (IMO), albeit a source of other make-believe-words, but still. Really people?

Nevertheless, this evening, I believe I was among several who feel likewise about the non-word, despite its being in existence as early as 1795 (per wikipedia). And this evening, I also learned about David Mitchell's Soapbox (on Facebook, on YouTube), otherwise also known as "i-am-going-to-binge-watch-soapbox" (because I'm still not employed).

comedy ... @CobbsComedyClub (on web, twitter) enjoyed the meet/greet/swag with marc maron (on web, twitter, facebook) and arj barker (on web, twitter,  youtube, facebook) as part of the vip ticket perks. going solo meant sitting with a few other solo peeps - gabriel from modesto and jay (justin) from iowa via new york - fun conversations and fun switching out of the gift bag goodies among the three of us!

good cause benefit ... great to hear that good money was raised for yesterday's mid-week chuckles benefit for the san francisco animal care & control (acc) shelter.

(side note: during meet/greet, the smell of poop drifted around the area - a little kitten went poopy. now i have the smell memory of maron + barker  + kitty poop.)

this evening ... 3 for all's show this evening at fort mason's bayfront theatre was truly fun and entertaining. i must say that one of the scenes as part of the first half's montage based on the audience suggestion sci-fi was quite the crazy "robot chair gymnastics" - crazy fun! and needless to say - 3 for all's long form show based on the audience suggestion (for a title of a movie that does not exist) the secret of silence was fabulous.

celebrity autobiography ... as part of sf sketchfest, saw the feb 4 show of celebrity autobiography over here. those at our show last night -

creators Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel with Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family, on imdb) and his first time with celebrity autobiography, Laraine Newman (Saturday Night Live), Luke Perry (Beverly Hills 90210), Fred Willard (Best in Show), Florence Henderson (Brady Bunch) 

- and what a wonderful set of readings. engineerbri (not to be confused with stranger-dangerbri or mustangbri) and i both agreed that one of the many best moments of the readings was laraine newman's cher - when newman bowed her head onto the microphone (BONK!) as part of the celebrity mash-up portion of the show. (and engineerbri will be visiting a bookstore to check out the actual neil sedaka autobiography). a question i (and i'm sure other audience members) had - publishers publish some of this stuff?! HO-LY-SMOKES!
