today, the winner of the world championship pumpkin weigh-off was announced - 1,535 lbs, california grown. CONGRATS, mr. root (... but growing massive pumpkins a "sport"?)am not going this year to the half moon bay & art festival. (went 3 years ago - crowded, traffic, crowded)
