old school karate kid wisdom(?!) revisited

for whatever reason, a 2006 post popped into my head, so here it is. (BONUS: the ESPN article referenced at the end of this post is STILL on-line. fun read!)

anyway, if you have ever watched any of the Karate Kid movies and found yourself quoting from it, a must read is ESPN's The Sports Guy "Holy Trilogy of the Karate Kid".
